Free

Free is ideal for one-time use — a small goal, a short event, or trying Pacemaker out. You get the core planner, up to 2 plans of up to 60 days each, and all of the table, calendar, and graph views. Free plans are public. If you need a third plan without subscribing, you can buy additional plans for a flat $5 each.

Premium Lite

Lite is built for students and anyone focused on one big piece of writing, like an essay or dissertation. It adds private plans, longer plans (up to a year), checklists, stats, archiving, email reminders, a unified calendar, and reusable templates.

Premium Pro

Pro is for authors, editors, and translators juggling several projects at once. It includes everything in Lite, plus the advanced features that automate and deepen your tracking: progress notes and time tracking, Projects for organizing plans, availability events that block dates across every plan at once, Google Docs auto-sync, and larger challenges with a discussion board.

Changing tiers

Visit your account settings and click Manage Subscription to upgrade, downgrade, switch between monthly and yearly, or cancel. See Changing or Cancelling your Subscription for details, including what happens to plans that exceed the free limit when you downgrade.
