Managing Your Availability

Pacemaker Premium Pro users can manage their availability at the account level and not just the plan level!



You do this by creating calendar-based events that block off time across any existing and any new plans. Events can reduce your availability for any number of reasons e.g. travel days, writing retreats, holidays etc.

To get started,

  1. Open up your main calendar and click or drag to create a new event. Name it and save it.
  2. Once saved, all existing and new plans created will treat those event dates and date ranges as days to skip.
  3. You can delete events, move them around the calendar or drag to extend or shorten them. Your plans will automatically re-calculate.
  4. Here is an initial demo video showing the basics of how the feature works.

For events that are multiple days long, just drag across all the days of the event and Pacemaker will treat it as one unit.

Note, that there may be some slow interactions when Pacemaker recalculates you entire schedule. Don't hesitate to let us know about any bugs you find or suggestions for how to make this feature more useful for you.
