Basic Goal Settings

In the goal settings panel, you specify exactly how much you'd like to do and by when.

How much work?

You can specify a start point and and end point in terms of how many words or pages you'd like to do.  This flexibility allows you to build plans that from 2K words to 40K words or ones where you want to edit a draft down from 10 pages to 6 pages.

There are several units of measurement to pick from but if you don't see one that you like, simply send us a support request - we'd be happy to add it.

Maximum workload per day

You have the ability to cap the amount of words written on a given day.

No matter what strategy you pick, the scheduler will respect your preference. If your maximum is set too low to complete your plan, a warning message will show up giving you suggestions on how to move forward. When that happens, the message will look something like the following:

Note that you cannot used the maximum daily words setting if you have set up a daily goal or a deadline that is not fixed.

Deadlines

Finally, you'll set up deadlines. You can have a fixed deadline or set up one that is automatically determine depending on the amount of work you do each day. Start dates must be the same as or before the deadline dates.
